Individuals - Volunteering
You can also volunteer your services to the Council. Please call and leave a message with your name and number at: 416-658-5100 x 1, and we will call you back to discuss your offer of support. When leaving us the message, please also indicate the area of our work in which you would like to volunteer (research, policy or advocacy work, administrative support, fundraising, advisory panel, community outreach, publicity/public relations, or event organizing).

Companies – Goods Donation
You can also send us your current or surplus goods for sale or for distribution to community members.
As an incorporated non-profit organization, we could provide you with community-focussed publicity and other marketing goodwill that would provide you with valuable business advantage and therefore enable you to write off the market value of your donation to us as a business expense under Canadian Income Tax rules – if you need that.
Before you take on the expense of paying to ship your goods to us as a donation, however, please contact us to discuss our ability to make use of the goods you have. Please contact the Council’s executive director at: 416-658-5100 x 5.
